This week in photography we took portrait photographs focusing on the technique used by the famous photographer Richard Avedon. We attempted to follow his recipe of engaging with the model to get them to open up and show emotion especially in the eyes and using his editing techniques of black and white and square. Although difficult to make a model comfortable and be vulnerable in front of the camera after a while it became easier.
