For photography class we were asked to compose a project in which we would showcase fifteen photos we had taken that showed three aspects, symmetry, asymmetry and balance. A photo that displays symmetry is a photo that if you draw a line down the middle it is the same on either side. We also took photos that displayed balance, which is when both sides of a photo are of equal weight or have something of equal size. Finally asymmetry in which one side of the photo is not the same as the other side.

Hello there Hayden! Your series shows that you have a great understanding of asymmetry, symmetry, and balance. I also see how you're establishing your own style with the way that you edit your photos—the bright, vivid colors. It's workin! Great job this week
ReplyDeleteI liked your use of brighter colors in your editing, typically this series specifically looks good in black and white, but I think you convinced me through your images that color is just as strong. Your asymmetry was my favorite composition because it distinctively displayed to very different sides on each image. Good work!
ReplyDeleteI really like how you edited the colors to make them bight and vivid when most people had edited them to be black and white.
